FAQ:
Q: What do I do if my child was enrolled in all 5 events they selected?
A: Students do not need to attend all 5 classes if they are not interested in doing all 5 (that’s quite a workload!). We recommend taking classes that work best with your schedule, comply with the CONFLICTS schedule and that your child wants to take. We suggest 3-4 classes to start in case some coaches need to reduce enrollment after registration.
Q: We’re still unsure; what do you suggest?
A: You and your student should keep an open mind and attend the classes they are able to for the first one to two weeks. If they don’t care for that event, the can drop it. For example, my son wants to take 3 events, but is enrolled in 5. He is definitely keeping 3 and going to his 4th choice class for the first class to see if he likes it. If not, he will drop it. He is opting not to attend his 5th choice class.
Q: How do I drop?
A: Email the coach directly so they revise their roster.
Q: My student’s event is impacted and the coaches will be testing to reduce class size. If my student does not pass that test can they add another event?
A: No, we cannot accommodate changes to schedules after Registration.
Q: Our coach had to change schedules after we selected the class; or, now the events we selected conflict because of the Regional/State schedule. What should we do?
A: Unfortunately, these situations are beyond our control. If your class schedule has become totally unworkable because of these two circumstance we will try to work with you. However, all of our classes are full and cannot accept any more students.
Q: My student isn’t feeling well and can’t attend his first class. Will we be dropped?
A: No. But as a courtesy to your coach, please email him or her directly as soon as possible.
